“It’s not just set it and forget it,” says William Svien, a principal at Vita Safety Partners. As voice, real time communications and the entire infrastructure of the way organizations communicate internally and externally, staying compliant with existing and emerging E911 regulatory requirements and OSHA’s guidelines for a safe working environment is an ongoing challenge. This past week at Enterprise Connect, TR’s Ruth Marion and Bill Svien sat down to record this podcast where we learn about the new challenges of staying in compliance as both work venues and the technologies that support work venues, change. We learn how Vita Safety Partners begins by offering an analysis that allows the enterprise to understand where it has fallen outside of compliance and to better understand its overall safety posture. From there, Vita Safety Partners offers a scalable service, which Svien describes as a la carte, meaning enterprises can chose the level of service that makes sense for them. Svien, a pioneer in the cloud communications space, understands how safety measures adopted in another time, with a different network, can easily become ineffective or below legal guidelines. The Vita Safety Partners team are very familiar with the types of legacy, hybrid, and cloud platforms that organizations have and understand how to help companies get and remain inside compliance. “It’s an ongoing process,” adds Svien.
